A sacred cow is a belief, a custom, or a person that people support and do not question or criticize. It could be something as simple as spending two hours a day on Facebook. You could be doing it during work hours or when you’re off work, but it’s aggressively distracting you from your downtime. As a business owner, you have to turn your brain off at times because if you’re always in work mode, performance eventually suffers. Kill that sacred cow, whether it’s a time suck or a money drain, and see yourself or your company grow from its death.
